Nine Tiny Piglets

This short tale spans several years.

Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz

This story must take place in the summer, late July or early August perhaps, as Dorothy is on her way home from California after having spent a considerable time vacationing in Australia with Uncle Henry.  School begins in mid-September, thus her vacation must end some time shortly before then.

Davis Publications.  Takes place a year after Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz.

The Ozmapolitan

This front page “newspaper” was published in Publishers’ Weekly on 10/21/1905.  It is the second Ozmapolitan issued by Reilly & Britton (and contained less Oz-only material than its predecessor), of which the first page is available in the Best of the Baum Bugle pictured above.

Twinkle and Chubbins (aka. The Twinkle Tales)

Policeman Bluejay (aka. Babes in Birdland)

Although the publisher rejected the idea, Baum at one point had wanted to subtitle this, “An Oz story”.  Clearly he saw the connection between the fairyland mentioned in this story and his more famous fairyland.  Regardless, there is enough of a connection to include this tale on the timeline, and with it, its predecessor, ‘Twinkle and Chubbins’.  Both stories were finally combined in one book (as was Baum's wish) under the 'The Twinkle Tales' moniker by the University of Nebraska Press.

The Mysterious Palace of Voe

Jubulut

This very short tale is a single chapter of a never-published story by Onyx Madden (author of Mysterious Chronicles of Oz) prior to his death.  As of this writing, it is not known for certain if this manuscript was completed or not, although Oziana editor, Robin Olderman, indicates that it was in its draft stage.  Any further information would be appreciated.  Email me @ Oz@timelineuniverse.net.
