Footnotes 10
Eloise McGraw's (author of Merry Go Round in Oz and Forbidden Fountain of Oz) final foray into Oz was initially published in Oz-story 6 and later released as a beautiful hardcover edition.
This was first published as an unfinished story contest in the Baum Bugle vol. 23, #3, Winter ‘79 issue. The winner, Camilla Townsend, had her conclusion appear in the Baum Bugle vol.24, #2, Autumn ‘80 issue. Fred Meyer's complete story with its original ending appeared five years later in the Laumer compilation, In Other Lands than Oz.
Internal evidence indicates this story takes place in April.
Date placement is my own. Internal evidence definitely places this before 1982’s The Fate of the Yoops or the Yookoohoos of Oz by Fred Otto.
Chapter 19 of this story, "The Improbable Forest" was published in Oziana 1973 as an excerpt. Interesting in that it features alternate artwork by Kevin Harris.
The Cowardly Lion and the Courage Pills
The Seven Blue Mountains of Oz: Book 2: Tippetarius in Oz
The second part of Melody Grandy's tour-de-force of the life of Tip and his master Zim, the Flying Sorcerer of Oz, reunites the heroes with Ozma and the prohibition against magic!
The Seven Blue Mountains of Oz: Book 3: Zim Greenleaf of Oz
Third and final book in the Seven Blue Mountains series sees the end of the storyline developed in books 1 and 2, as well as concluding the events of the book, Thorns and Private Files in Oz. Following the conclusion of events in Book 2, the remaining chapters beginning with 7 are broken into several different time periods. Fans interested in continuity will note that Chapter 3: The Doonabeasts contains references to characters and locales detailed in Chris Dulabone's The Colorful Kitten of Oz. See that entry for more information.

Begins two weeks prior to the 75th anniversary of Betsy Bobbins’ arrival in Oz (chronicled in “Tik-Tok of Oz”). Despite the restoration of his meat leg in Seven Blue Mountains of Oz, Cap’n Bill has his peg leg back. Perhaps he’s grown to prefer it and requested it back from Zim.
